I think this is a great method of learning. The building block analogy it uses really make you feel like you are making a lot of progress from nothing in a very short space of time. It’s great to know how to combine just a few words and be able to say quite a lot – it gets you motivated because you feel like you’re making a lot of progress in a short amount of time.
Negative Points
As with most of these courses that are sold online some of the marketing claims are outrageous! You will not be fluent in only 138 words! you will have to learn more words than this. The 138 words give you a framework that you can use as a basis to build on – which I think is great, just dont think that is all you will need to know.
The Verdict
Its a great way to start your Spanish learning. I think the 138 word building block method gives a great foundation to build on and is fun because you feel like you’re making a lot of progress. I thought the audio lessons were more like a bonus and secondary to the pdf explaing in the concepts. I dont think the price is much really if you’re starting out and want to kick start your learning.
